In addition, Learning Centers provide computerized/multimedia resource materials to assist in training, education, professional and self-development.

The programs offered range from on-duty basic skills instruction to vocational and college programs.

On-post classes are provided through Troy State University, Upper Iowa University and Chattahoochee Valley State Community College, with Columbus State University and Columbus Technical Institute within close commuting distance.

Financial assistance is provided through Army Tuition Assistance, Veterans Educational Assistance Program, the old G.I. Bill/Montgomery G.I. Bill and various grants, loans and scholarships.

Education counselors are available at the Education Center in Soldiers’ Plaza to assist in career, vocational, and professional development.
